Baggage

As per an individual passenger, one unit of your cabin baggage should not be more than 23x40x55 in size. The weight should be limited to 8 kg. The maximum size allowed for one personal item as a bag is 40x30x15, in the case of Economy Class. 

However, if you are traveling in Business Class, you are allowed to carry two cabin bags, provided their size is not more than 23x40x55 and their weight is 8 kg (total 16 kg). Also, you can carry one personal item as a bag whose size is not more than 40x30x15.

Sports Equipment

Turkish Airlines allows you to carry equipment such as a bicycle, golf (first set without any charge), canoe, archery equipment, snowboard, hockey, bowling equipment, parachute, surfboard, hunting equipment, and much more. Musical Instruments

Airport Check-in

Visit the Turkish Airlines check-in counter at the airport. You need to show the documents such as ID and passport. If you have discount tickets, you must show the related documents. Then your baggage will be checked and if it is found to be exceeding the limit, the defined rules will be applied. The boarding pass will be provided to you.

Online Check-in

Visit the website of Turkish Airlines and refer to the Check-in / Manage Booking tab on the home page to mark your online check-in. The check-in facility is also available on the airline’s Mobile App.

Self-service Check-in Kiosk

You can also use the Self-service Check-in Kiosk facility to save time. Enter the PNR Code and receive your boarding pass. The facility starts 12 hours before the flight. It ends 45 minutes before the departure time for domestic flights and 60 minutes before the departure of international flights. Please note that more than eight people (with the same PNR code) cannot be checked in together through kiosks.

After getting the boarding pass, head towards the boarding gate, if you do not have baggage. If you have baggage, it is mandatory to check in at the check-in desk.

Flight Status

Go to the “Flight Status” tab on the homepage of the airline’s website. Select from the options – Arrival, Departure, Flight No., or Route, and enter relevant details accordingly, to view the status of your flight.
