I’ve recently surpassed 1,000 subscribers on YouTube and to mark this milestone I’ve decided to remake my very first trip report on Azerbaijan Airline’s service between New York and Baku. You may have watched the original video from 2018 and if so, I apologize because it was pretty bad. Hopefully, this new release is more entertaining and casts this unique flight in a better light. If you look on Azerbaijan Airline’s website they market the cabin class which I flew on as First Class, but I refer to it as Business Class in this video because, it really is Business Class… AZAL’s Dreamliner’s are configured in a three class layout: Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy. As previously mentioned, there’s a bit of cabin confusion on the airline’s website, so don’t fooled. This is one of three unique carriers that operate out of New York and it was really cool to get to try them out. As of 2021, AZAL is not operating this route, but I really hope it resumes after the current health crisis subsides.
