According to Air Asia Baggage Policy, Air Asia passengers are permitted carry-on baggage free allowance; but checked baggage allowance is available at an additional charge.

Two items are allowed as carry-on baggage, the total weight of the 2 items combined must be less than equal to 7kg; and the linear dimension[L+W+H] must adhere to Air Asia parameters: 56cm X 36cm X 23cm OR 40cm X 30cm X 10cm. Carry-on baggage must fit in the overhead storage space or underneath the seat in front of passenger.
