My Bookings
This service allows passengers to make changes to their flights and request services. You need to enter your last name and booking reference on the Manage booking portal and then you can make desired changes. You can view booking details, change or cancel flights, book travel extras such as pre-select a seat, Add more checked baggage, Pre-order a meal, Add internet access, Book lounge access, Make a reservation for your pet traveling in the cabin, Add sport equipment and view plus benefits.
Online Check-In
This feature allows you to save time at the airport. You can check-in online either by Qatar Airways mobile app or through the official website. Online Check-in is available 48 hours to 90 minutes before your flight departure.
Baggage Allowance
Qatar Airways allows you to carry one cabin bag up to 23 kg and a personal bag up to 7 kg. As per checked bags size is based on the destination you’re traveling to and weight should not exceed 32 kg.
Baggage lost/Delayed
In the unfortunate time when you lose your baggage, Qatar Airways provides a solution. If your baggage is delayed for more than 48 hours then the airline will try to compensate you. If found then your baggage will be delivered to you.
Traveling with Pet/Service Dogs/Falcons
Qatar Airways allows you to travel with small cats, dogs and birds either on the same flight or a different one. Pet need to be in a carrier all the time throughout the flight.48 hours prior to your flight departure, the airline needs to be notified regarding the pet. All the paperwork indicating that the pet identification and health certificate needs to be presented to the airline. A falcon you can travel in economy class as long as its inside a carrier.
Service dogs are allowed free of charge in the passenger cabin along with the owner as long as all the paperwork is submitted with the airline. Also the service dog needs to be well behaved and seated under the seat ahead of the passenger.
Inflight Wifi
Qatar Airways provides free wifi for the first 30 minutes in economy and first 60 minutes in business, then passengers need to choose from the different plans provided. It has two types of wifi services such as regular Wifi and Super Wifi. Super wifi is 10 times faster than regular wifi. The fee charged for wifi is as follows:
- Standard Wi-Fi-US$10 (A$14.75)-limit 100 MB-for 3 hours
- US$20 (A$29.50)-limit 200MB-for Whole flight
